Richard has worked in retail pharmacy for over 10 years working his way from a cashier to pharmacy student then pharmacist. He now owns Northern Shores Pharmacy in North Bay, Ontario. Richard completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Toronto in 2015. There he gained a specialized knowledge and training in medication therapy management and pharmacogenomics.
Richard also holds designations in Pharmacogenomics from the University of Florida, Addictions medicine from the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health in Toronto, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa.

Samantha O’Donnell HBSc Candidate
Internship
Samantha is in her graduating year at Nipissing University, completing her Honours Bachelor of Science, specializing in biology. Samantha has taken an interest in the health sciences including the area of genetics, and neuroscience.
She enjoys keeping up to date with the latest scientific research, and also spends time volunteering at the local hospital in the day surgery department.
Samantha is hoping to continue her education in health sciences or medicine when she completes her HBSc in spring of 2018.
